1.      Puppies are reserved and held with a deposit.  Deposits are $300.00.  Deposits can be paid with postal money orders, cashier's checks,  or with a major Credit Card through PayPal.  We do not accept personal checks. Once Walnut Acres receives the deposit the puppy will be marked and considered sold.  You may make deposits and payments  instantly through Paypal using your debit or credit card. This is our preferred method of handling deposits and payments. If you pay using PayPal, please add 3% to cover PayPal fees.  You may make PayPal payments to jamie@walnutacresoldebulles.com .

2.      Choice of puppy is determined on a first come (deposit received) first to choose basis.  Puppy will be placed on "hold" for four business days, while waiting for a deposit.  If deposit is not received in that time, the puppy will be placed back up for sale.

3.      Deposits are NON REFUNDABLE, except in cases of premature death, prior to the delivery of your puppy to you.  If you change your mind and do not want or cannot take your puppy, you forfeit your deposit

4.      The buyer is responsible for all costs related to shipping including crate, vet check, health certificate and actual shipping costs.

 5.      Buyer will pick up puppy by the time it is eight weeks old, or the puppy will be shipped by the time it is eight weeks old.  There will be a $35.00 per week boarding charge, plus any other expenses if buyer is not able to pick up puppy.  Two weeks or more with no attempts to make pick up arrangements or attempts to make plans with Walnut Acres, the buyer then forfeits the puppy and any deposits or payments made on puppy, unless other arrangements are made with Walnut Acres.

When you decide on a puppy please notify us by email at jamie@walnutacresoldebulles.com or by phone at 573-528-5906.  We require a deposit of $300.00 and a signed copy of our contract ( located on the website under "contract" ) to hold the puppy until it is old enough to go out, which is eight weeks.  If your puppy has to be shipped to you, the total balance owed (including shipping cost) on your puppy must be received by us by the time your puppy is six (6) weeks old.  Today there is a lot of check fraud, including cashier's checks, money orders, and even postal money orders.  Because of this we will not ship your puppy until your check clears, regardless of the type of check.  Our bank puts a 10 day hold on the check.  This is the reason we require the balance to be paid by the time the pup is six weeks old.  We will notify you of that date after we receive your deposit.  If you are picking up your puppy the balance will be owed when we deliver your puppy to you.  

METHODS OF PAYMENT-  We accept credit cards through Pay Pal.  This is a service provided by Pay Pal that allows you to use your credit card to purchase items.  All you need to pay us with a credit card is a Pay Pal account (which you can easily set up at www.paypal.com ) and our email address, which is jamie@walnutacresoldebulles.com .  PLEASE ADD 3% IF USING PAYPAL.  We also accept postal money orders, and bank issued money orders.  You may want to consider "over nighting" your money order to us, which is still less than the cost of PayPal fees if you are paying for the puppy in full.  Again, we will not ship a puppy until your payment clears our bank, generally 10-14 days.   Our bank will not accept money orders by Western Union so, we cannot accept them either.  I'm told there has been a lot of scams involving Western Union by my banking officials, hence their policy regarding Western Union money orders.

Once Walnut Acres receives the deposit and a signed copy of our contract, your puppy will be marked and considered sold to you.  Using your credit card through PayPal is practically instantaneous and all you will have to do is mail us a signed copy of the contract.  If you choose to send payment in the mail we will put the puppy that you want on HOLD for four (4) business days, while we wait for your deposit and contract.  

If we will be shipping your puppy it will go to our vet when it turns eight weeks old for the Health Check.  After that, shipping arrangements can be made.  We will not book any flights or make any shipping arrangements until the balance owed on your puppy, plus shipping, has been received and the payment has cleared. (please read shipping information below).

Shipping 

We will use a number of different airlines and air services to get your puppy to you.  We need at least 3 business days to reserve your puppy's flight.   

Please know that we will be working as fast as we can on our end to get you your puppy.  We know how exciting it can be to get a new puppy, especially if you have been waiting for a number of weeks.  Shipping is sometimes dictated by the weather.  Because of this there are times when flights have to be rescheduled.  This does not happen very often, but it does on occasion.  

Sometimes we are not able to get your puppy into the airport that is closest to you, no matter how hard we try.  We ourselves drive drive some distance to the airport.  We are also at the mercy of the airlines.  Sometimes there are limited flights available and then certain issues can arise with the airlines that might delay shipping such as climate restrictions, cargo space, weight restrictions, etc., etc.  The airlines we use will not ship a puppy if the temperature any where along the route is going to be 75 degrees or higher.  So, we may have to look into ground shipping.  Please be patient and know that we want you to get your puppy as soon as possible.

Please note any delay in getting us the contract, balance owed on puppy or shipping costs will result in your puppy being shipped at a later date.  We will not ship the pup until all is paid for.
